our simple process

*Please note that we start planning trips approx. 1 year and up to 3 months in advance. When contacting us with less than 2 months left before your travel dates, during our busiest times, we may not be able to guarantee a consultation or booking. We strive to make sure that each of our clients receive a superb level of customer service and when our travel team is rushed or overwhelmed that is when mistakes can be made. Please plan ahead to allow us adequate time to assist you. If you are in a bind or have planned almost your entire trip and just need help navigating through some of the nitty-gritty, we may be able to assist with simple details such as booking flights, accommodations, or car rentals but may not be able to assist in planning fully customized itineraries.

Prior to Setting Up a Consultation

HAVE IN MIND:

Where would you like to go? (Narrow it down to a couple destinations or if you have a specific place in mind, even better)
What are your ideal dates? How many days are you able to stay?
What's the budget that you are considering?
What are the ages of each person travelling with you? What are their travel interests?
Have a list of each traveler's full name exactly as it appears on their travel documents (Passport, ID, or Birth Certificate), as well as their date of birth.

Set a Consultation

By setting a free consultation, we will put an hour aside for you to come in and meet with us, face-to-face. Building a rapport as well as being able to ask questions and pick up some brochures in the office is always exciting! We love meeting our new clients and catching up with our old friends!!
Keep in mind we can do as little as just booking your flights or accommodations and as much as a full-service, fully customized itinerary.
During your consultation we will setup a profile for you in our database with all the important information that we will need before any bookings. This will include things like your address, phone number, email, passport info (for international travel), credit card info (if you choose to have it on file), etc.
We will discuss any fees that may be applicable for your booking beforehand. We are always upfront, and you will never incur any "hidden fees". Honeymoons are always Free!
We will share our insight with you and make some travel recommendations based on what you're looking for. During this time, you can get many of your questions answered and we will begin researching to find you the best value for your vacation.

Planning Phase

During the planning phase we will continue researching and will contact specific travel vendors to put together some options and price quotes.
While we love to see you in person, during this phase, we are happy to communicate via email or telephone. That way you can go about your life while we do the work. That's what you hired us for, right?
After discussing all of the options and hammering out the details with you, we can then begin booking each aspect of your vacation.
At this time, depending on your specific vendor and travel dates a deposit or full payment may be required (depending on your vendors reservation requirements). Please keep in mind, we will never charge your credit card without discussing the charge and the amount to be charged beforehand via phone or email. We will contact you before each and every charge.
After we have all the details booked and confirmed, we will begin putting together your final documents.

Final Documents

Final documents will include all your travel details in one neat, organized book. Your detailed travel itinerary (day-to-day) will be included as well as all airline booking confirmations and record locators, airline baggage allowances, hotel and vacation rental details, car rental confirmations, reciept for all pre-booked tour reservations and/or excursions, important contact numbers, and currency details. If applicable, you may also find helpful items such as a packing list, walking maps, and travel tips for your specific destination.
All of your documents will be printed and bound in an organized book for each traveler or per couple.
Once ready, you will be contacted to kindly come into our office where we will go over everything with you in detail.
During this time, we will answer any last questions that you may have.

Post Travel

Please call us after travel and tell us all about your trip! Hearing about all the places that you explored is the icing to our cake. After spending so much time putting together your itinerary, we can't wait to hear all about it afterwards!
